Sam
Sam is a Chartered accountant and a director of Ullyott Limited with more than two decades experience in accountancy practice. She has built a varied client base over her time in Ullyott Limited through a combination of reliability and approachability, ensuring the sometimes onerous responsibilities of complying with accountancy and tax requirements are made lighter for her clientele. Her main focus is meeting face to face with clients to help them, not only with ongoing compliance, but also assisting them to move their business in the direction they want. She can assist with start-ups, expansion, forecasts and business plans as well as retirement and closing a business when the time comes.
Martin
Martin qualified as a Certified accountant in 2005. He joined the practice in May 2013 as Senior Practice Accountant and has progressed to be a director of Ullyott Ltd. Martin has more than two decades experience in accountancy practice. His client base has expanded significantly over his time with Ullyott Limited as a result of his forward thinking and dedication to providing a service that is thorough whist remaining friendly and approachable. His main focus is to discuss with clients their accounts and tax liabilities ensuring they understand their tax liabilities and how their business is performing, Martin also takes the time to look at look at the commercial aspect of a business to consider it’s needs and possible savings.
Nick
Following graduation from Hull University Nick began his career with a building society before joining the practice in 2010. He became a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2012 and achieved Association of Taxation Technicians qualification in 2015. His role sees him preparing accounts and VAT returns as well as being heavily involved in personal and corporate tax. Nick is a Certified Xero advisor and has a wealth of experience with other software such as Sage and Quickbooks. In 2024 he commenced meeting and advising clients around their accountancy and taxation needs.
Luke
Luke joined the practice in 2019 having previously been studying for his AAT level 4 qualification. Whilst studying at the practice he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2022. Luke is part of the accounts production team and prepares accounts for a wide variety of clients as well as being involved with personal and corporation tax returns and has over 8 years’ experience in this field. He is also a Xero certified advisor and can help with your making tax digital queries.
Jamie
Jamie graduated from Northumbria University and joined the practice in March 2014. Having studied for Accounting Technician qualifications alongside training within the practice he gained his AAT level 3. Jamie is part of the accounts production team and prepares accounts for a wide variety of clients as well as being involved with personal and corporation tax returns. In addition, he has experience of both monthly and quarterly VAT returns. Jamie is also a Xero certified advisor and can help with your making tax digital queries.
Becky
Becky has been involved in accountancy since August 2015. She is qualified in bookkeeping, VAT and Self Assessment tax returns as well as company secretarial procedures. Becky is also a Xero certified advisor and will be able to help with your making tax digital queries. Her role often involves tracking various statutory deadlines and submissions.
Olivia
Olivia joined in 2021 as an apprentice working in reception whilst also starting studies for Accounting Technician qualifications. She has now gained her AAT level 2 and has completed AAT level 3 whilst training in the practice. Olivia has now moved to the accounts preparation part of the team, her role now includes preparing accounts as well as personal and corporation tax returns. Olivia is also a Xero certified advisor.
Clare
Clare joined the practice in 2022. She can be found on reception answering calls and offering clients a warm welcome and signposting to the right person. She takes care of the day to day administration, also filing tax returns, and will usually be the person calling to chase clients for information to ensure it is delivered on a timely basis. Clare also has a background of studying AAT Level 3 in accounting.
